Had to wait almost an hour for burnt cold food. Not worth it. Zero communication from the waitresses. And it appeared as if there were also zero communication between staff. I watched my food sit on the warmer for over 20 minutes. Greek to me on Delaware was always on point. I always had pleasant experiences there. But I will NOT go back to this Eggert location.
Read My Lips. I went in and took a seat at the counter…The Red Head Waitress came over…I tried to tell her what I wanted…She insisted about getting my drink first…I didn’t want a drink…I wanted a Cheese burger with fries…No I had have a drink..I gave in so I let her get me a black coffee…When I got it… It was luke warm…Then She took my order Cheese Burger Lettuce , Tomato, Pickle … Mayo.. When it came she put it in front of me and left. I didn’t have a chance to tell her about the lettuce…Ten minutes later she came ask me if there was a problem…I then told her about the lettuce …The Sandwich is cold now…She said I didn’t order the lettuce…She was right…I didn’t order it the second time around but I did the first time when she insisted on getting my drink before ordering food …So The second time when she took the order I forgot the lettuce and the Fries….Then She insisted on getting the lettuce…I said no….She refuse to take my answer of no so I finally said Mam Please Read my Lips… When she was ready to listen I then I asked her to bring me my bill. She did a few minutes late I guess it was the owner He came out and asked me what my problem was about reading lips….He didn’t want to listen to me either so I got up and proceeded to pay my bill without eating the burger…He said something to me under his breath so I told him to stick this where the sun don’t shine… This being the 2 five dollar bills…He wished me a good day and I left
I tried to order….. The website says ‘online ordering now available’. Could not find that link. I called and was told ‘that wrinkle hasn’t been worked out yet. Could not order food anyway, it was 4:26 on a Wednesday and they now close at 4 several times a week.
Nothing special. The last reviewer hit the nail on the head. I was there with my sister, who was visiting from out of town. We both ordered omelettes, and were asked if we wanted onions with our home fries. When we got our food, I could not even tell if there were onions in there. Why go out of your way and even ask if people want onions? The home fries, themselves were tiny pieces, too well done to enjoy. My sister’s toast was burnt in the middle. Isn’t there any quality control in this place? We had a coupon, so it was pretty cheap, but there are so many better places for breakfast. I think we’ll check out Sophia’s, or Bertha’s.
