Good Eats. Two words, FISH TACO! A choice I wouldn’t usually lean towards but, I crave adventure when it comes to my cravings (to an extent). The turkey burger I had was just average or slightly below due to it’s dry nature.It’s clean and a great Sports atmosphere. A nicer alternative to your typical sports bar and grill. My only dislike is, it’s in the Mall so, the parking is only good late or on odd days.
Pleasantly surprised. I haven’t eaten at Jack Astor’s in almost 15 years, but after noticing they received a keg from one of our local breweries and a pretty solid beer list we decided to give it a go while at the galleria mall. There was a wait for a table in the dining room but were seated immediately in the bar area. My sister-in-law was excited to find you could substitute their regular rolls for gluten-free ones. There were plenty of items I was genuinely interested in trying out but I went with the pulled pork poutine and wasn’t disappointed at all. My husband and his sister both ordered sandwiches and fries and genuinely enjoyed them. I wasn’t expecting much but for a chain restaurant (canadian chain, this is their only American location) they had creative menu options, the food was good, the beer selection was great, and they were supporting the local economy by offering a locally made beer. Definitely our only choice in the mall from now on.
Shopping Luncheon. My mother, sister and I went and had lunch at the Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill located in the Walden Galleria Mall. Brooke, our server was great. I would not recommend their chicken wings but their Jack’s Smokey burger is a definite must, as well as their beer batter fish and chips. Their price is comparable to the Cheese Cake Factory.
They have amazing food. I love going to this restaurant. the food is great! try it.
Let the good times roll!. A little pricey for what you get but it is located in a shopping mall. Always have a great time in the bar. THEY NEED TO BRING BACK THE DJ’S! Try the Thai dishes, yummy!
