Mixed feelings. My boyfriend and I went to Koi Sushi this last Friday. We always go to sushi places and always like to try new ones. We arrived at 12:30 and the place was pretty empty. We were seated promptly and once we had made our selections the waiter quickly put in our order. Another waiter even made sure we had been helped. Our first round was really good I enjoyed the smaller portion sizes (my boyfriend didn’t personal opinion I guess). So far so good right? well after we got our first serving it started to get busy and we were basically forgotten. We had gotten a second menue (being two people it was on the table when we arrived) but we couldn’t get a hold of a waiter to save our lives. Also our drinks were long past empty. Perhaps they were short a server I will give them the benefit of the doubt because I really liked the sushi. I will probably go again, but make sure i’m not in a hurry.
Worst sushi experience ever. Not only is the food not good, but you get charged for the food that you do not eat. Never have I heard such a thing for an All-U-Can-Eat lunch. So hopefully you enjoy all of your food and can stomach eating every bite, or else you will be charged like we were. Ridiculous.. $2.50 for every roll that is uneaten on your plate. Won’t ever be back!
Horrible Experience at Koi. Horrible place. The food took 45 minutes to come out. And when it comes out, it is not what you ordered. It will be a good place if I have all day to spend there. I saw people left because they were just too busy. I left the all you can eat Koi sushi feeling hungry. Will not go there again!
First and last time eating here. One word best sums up Koi Sushi- inedible! Tried a few of their fusion rolls and their miso soup, all equally bad. Hands down worst sushi place I have dined at.
Koi sushi is fabulous and affordable, considering all sushi takeout is half price… hell ya!!! you can get rolls for like 2-3$ each!! the steamed dumplings are yummy as well!! i always get spicy mayo on the side for everything.
BEST SUSHI IN BUFFALO. AYCE Sushi is one of the best ideas I’ve seen in a long time. I always enjoy coming here, They have great food for a great price. I mean can you really beat off take out rolls and sushi? Even the prices of their all you can eat menu are outstanding. Give them five spoons or stars or whatever. I just love coming here, and I never need to find another sushi place, because there is no place better than Koi.
