Awful experience. We went on a Friday night at 6pm. After one table left, it was only us in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken parm dinner, which was strange. The chicken breats were huge and tough. The side of pasta was okay, nothing special. The veal that we ordered was awful. It was two huge, overcooked slabs of meat with no garnish or anything else on the plate. The service was freightening. The server was sweating, rude, and made us feel unwelcome. The prices are high. They should have smaller, more reasonable, portions. I wouldn’t go back even if I was paid to. There are so many other places on Transit Road to eat. Skip this place!

Great Food, Huge Portions!. Luigi’s is on my top five pizza joints in WNY. Huge slices and pies. Great wings that are truly as advertized (hot is HOT). But what sets it apart are the appetizers and entrees. The stuffed peppers are incredible…but be warned the tips can be hot!. The Pasta Lema is great and easily serves two.It has gotten busier over the past year, so if you have a large party you may need to call ahead. When they are super busy the service does get spotty, so ask for breadsticks and a bottle of wine when you are first seated and just relax.
Luigi’s has to be one of my favorite places ro eat in WNY. If your not familiar with the place, it’s a small, pizza based Italian restaurant that you can either get take out from or get a sit down dinner. The dining room is small, but I’ve never had a problem getting a table. The menu is mostly what you’d expect, consisting of pizza, subs, wings, etc, with a few italian dishes as well. The pepperoni and cheese pizzas here are both delicious, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese, as well as a very tasty crust. The subs are good as well, but you can do better at other places if your looking for sandwhiches. The wings are very good, but can’t compete with some other local places. Still, they’re pretty tasty, and a bit on the spicey side, but still relatively mild. If you decide to dine in, you can also get complimentary garlic bread, which is superb. I’ve always though of it as hot pizza dough that’s smothered in a garlickey sauce, and is amazingly tasty, and a great appetizer. Overall, you really can’t go wrong with Luigis, and If you haven’t been here, I’d reccomend a visit. Just beware, however, the pizza is a bit small for what it costs.
Overpriced and Quality has been going down hill for years. I used to order from Luigis almost everyday about 10 years ago. The food quality started to go down hill so i stopped getting takeout. I went back a few times since then, and i recently gave it another shot. Food is overpriced, pizza is soggy, and wing size is inconsistent. Dining room smells like mop water.Go to Clarence Pizza Company instead.
Food was ok, but very overpriced and nothing special.waitress was extremely rude! We were placed in a cold corner excluded from the rest of dining room, and even though we were immediatly around the corner from waitress nook we were ignored the whole evening. Overall, a very disappointing evening. NEVER will go back!!!
