Inconsistant. What is with the Pizzerias around town lately? This is an example of what I mean. Sometimes the best in Buffalo and sometimes the worst. Try hiring someone who cares and pay them decent. You are embarrassing people who like to tout Buffalo pizza.
Quality is going way way down. Just had them resend a sub. the first one was dry and cheezy. i am very disappointed. the 2nd one isn’t much better. bummer. i really liked them. the size of the items very on who’s cooking that day as well. that is a major bummer. get a huge sub one time n 1/2 that the next for the same price.
Pizza was really good just wish that the mushrooms were fresh instead of canned. Wings were good also
What happened?. I moved out of town 4 years ago and I used to order from them many times. I just ordered in person a double order of fingers with Ranch dressing. The fingers were so over cooked they were brown and dark brown. It was so soggy with grease I used paper towels to squeeze out some of the grease. The ranch dressing was also very watery. I didn’t realize that I had to check their food quality.
Mattina’s in Kenmore – order elsewhere. What a waste of $105. Don’t bother calling and complaining because no managers or owners call back…falls on deaf ears. Bought a ton of food.. pizzas, subs, wings etc.. The pizza was doughy on on top and burnt on bottom. Told them no onions on 1 of the subs due to allergy. What happens? Onions on it mixed in the lettuce (sm amount so you couldn’t see them) it’s lucky he tasted it right away and didn’t swallow it and spit out. Luckily sm rash only and didn’t stop breathing or else Mattina’s would be in court!!!! Wings were dry like they were sitting around. All subs had more lettuce than you can imagine. Didn’t even know that there was turkey on it. When called and said we want money back and we will return all the items, they said no we already took home and could have done anything to the items. Told them we would like to talk with manager and owners. They replied we have none here today so I said have them call me. NO RETURN CALL FROM THIS PLACE. They should just close down… poor food, poor staff. Don’t waste your money here, you will be sorry.
Take a Chance. I have used this pizzeria frequently and have come to the conclusion that they are slow and inconsistant. Usually when I call in an order I am told it will take 1 hour any time I call on weekend, weekdeay, holiday or not. Always 1 hour.The main problem is inconsistancy. Sometimes it is the best pizza ever then the last 2 times it was way below average. And I always had to order extra sauce. The last 2 times I ordered trom there it really tasted odd. I haven’t been there since.
YES. I’ve been eating it since I was young and I always get extra sauce on their pizza. Their sauce is soooooo good. The best pizza sauce ever!! I would even say its better than romeo and juilets cafe pizza. My girlfriend and I just split a half of a cheese pizza with extra sauce. With delivery and tip it comes to $14. I love it when they make it the right way-somethimes they don’t.
