Garbage. Maxis = Inconsistant Pizza Ordered large cheese pepporoni mushroom pie . Brought it home, opened it up and a big burnt, runny, paper crust pizza! Not Good! Brought it back and demanded a refund which was given.I asked the guy behind the counter if he would eat this mess, What type of business would pass this garbage off to a customer? Maybe they think most people would not bring it back.Well i’m not one of them…. A month ago my son and his friends ordered a sheet pizza which was terrific. About a year ago i bought a large pizza and when i got it home it was literally burnt black on the bottom! I brought that one back and the owner apologized and made me another free of charged and delivered it free also.
Service is horrible!! I ordered a pizza and it took three hours to deliver and everytime i called the said it wad on it way.. tried one more time to order and steak sub had no seasoning and was skimpy!! Never again
Terrible Owner. I have many, many stories about Maxi’s, but my biggest problem is the owner.First off, the food is pretty good. I’d rate it a 7.5 outta 10. In particular, they make their blue cheese themselves and it is phenomenal. That said, the people who work there try hard, but they simply are not trained as they should be. There seems to be little consistency; some of the people at the register are nice and friendly, others rude and upset. I’ve heard yelling from the back, seen doors slammed and food thrown around, and heard people attacking appliances. But the worst has to be the owner. He’s an old man, and often very rude. I saw him yell at one woman, getting in a gigantic screaming match with an employee, and just generally be a jerk. Further, on at least three occasions he’s been obviously intoxicated; I’m talking stumbling around, can’t work the cash register, has to have another employee lead him away-drunk. It’s despicable and disgusting. In short, while I might have gone here for a long time despite the prices, the owner has completely turned me away with his rude antics and belligerent behavior.
Best steak sub. I consider myself a steaksub afficionado and hands down, they are the best! I’ve had them everywhere in WNY and when I travel and even delicious Jim’s Steakout is humbled by Maxi’s. Pizza is average there, as are the chicken fingers. Wings are a bit above average. Staff does not go out of their way to be polite. Try their steak sub.
Tasty Pizza. We loved the white pizza.It hit the spot on a chilly Sunday 4-1.
Chicken Finger Pizza!. The chicken finger pizza is awesome. However, just about everything else is sub-par.Prices are a little above average for most local pizzerias too.
Steak sub supppppreme!. Chris has taught his staff how to kook..the best damn steak sub in town! Call them and tell them to make it slopppppy and pick up extra napkins, cause some places you just can’t lick all the good stuff off….
