Best Chinese in WNY!!!! The staff is helpful, polite, and fast. Bring your family or sneak away for date night!! Any excuse to get more dumplings works for us!!
Thanks Restaurant Week. Couldn’t believe how good the food is here. And the portions are huge! We had enough to take home for 2 meals! Restaurant week brought us in and I will definitely be coming back. Large menu with many options to choose from plus an additional page of specials. All of the vegetables and meat were fresh and not chewy and rubbery like a lot of Chinese restaurants. Many UB students and professors there while we were dining. Close to the college campus. Restaurant was clean and service was nice and efficient and made good recommendations. Place reminded me of a smaller Chang’s Garden. Small beer and wine list but we got tea with our meals.

Like it! The first chinese restaurant I have gone to since moving here two years ago that serves authentic fried rice!
Clean and good ambiance. May Jen is clean and has a good ambiance for a small Chinese restaurant.Food is fresh and good. Also they adjust the food as you like it.My husband and me always go there when we are in a mood of a tasty Chinese.
Best chinese food in the area,. We love to try different Chinese restaruants but since finding May Jen we have stopped.I have spent some time in Hong Kong over the years and have experienced traditional Chinese food many times. Even though the Chinese we get here is Americanized Chinese food, May Jen keeps many of the traditional sauces and dishes tasting unique and authentic.The quality of the meats and product are hands above other restaraunts.The food is consistanly fantastic and the service is top notch.
