Best Fish since 1970’s. Just had a wonderful Fish Fry last night at McPartlan’s Corner. Mom and Pop had a business when we were growing up near Cuba Lake, NY. This is the ONLY place that ever compared!!!!…..Will definitely be going back.

Excellent. When I visit Buffalo I always make sure I visit for the Haddock Fish fry and I’m partial to their fried baloney sandwich

A great find while out of town on business. Bartender has a great demeanor and was extremely cool during an extremely busy night. Best Fish Fry I’ve had in town. Definitley a place to head to during lent.

An Old Standard. McPartlan’s is certainly a neighborhood staple. Fish fry’s, beef on week, etc. And it does tend to cater to the senior crowd. Neither of these are a bad thing. However, today’s visit was disappointing. Fellow diner and I went after the lunch crowd was over, around 1. Not saying the place was empty, but certainly not jamming by any means. It was seat yourself, and the server initially came over in enough time. However, trying to get her attention after that was pointless. I can be forgiving if the server if slammed, but I do ask simple things like refilling my drink. Fellow diner cant eat seeds. They do have seedless rye and are usually happy to bring it. Granted it slipped our minds when we ordered, but trying to get her attention throughout the rest of the time we were there was useless.Lunch seemed to take awhile to come out given the crowd, and the fact that the tables around us that came after we did were mostly through their meals. Made me wonder if it was the kitchen or if the server was off doing something else. And my broiled haddock, while a generous size, was cold and a little underdone.Companion seemed happy with her broiled scallops. Considered getting dessert as they advertised homemade pies, but given it felt we were a bother, I didn’t want to wait.
