Awesome!. While I no longer live nearby, it is definitely worth the 45 minute drive to this quaint little charmer. I remember coming here as a child and i think it says a lot that 30 some years later the food and service are still as exceptional.

Amazing hidden location. This restaurant is really off the beaten path, but it’s a charming hidden gem with delicious entrees and an old fashioned feel. The ambiance is cozy and warm and makes you feel like you’re dining in an old home, which I love. The food is also tremendously scrumptious. I absolutely love the chicken fricasse, which is always cooked to perfection. Each entree comes with large family style sides and if you there when they have the butternut squash, you’re in for a treat. I’d definitely recommend this for any occasion.

The old orchard: one of the best of buffalo. The old orchard inn is one of my favorite restaurants in erie county, and i must say, it is the perfect place for a variety of occasions – from a romantic valentine’s dinner to a large wedding party to birthday for a relative. it is so wonderful & offers a memorable dining experience. when you get to the old orchard inn, you are instantly immersed in old world charm. the furniture is classic, and the burning fireplaces add to the cozy ambience. the wait staff continues a great dining experience. every waiter i have ever been attended to by has been extremely nice and helpful. the highlight of the meal is just that: the meal. everyone on the menu is delicious. a few of my favorites are the chicken fricasse, the chicken pot-pie (which is one of the restaurant’s specialities) and any/all of the pasta entrees. you get a lot for the price, too, which i was so surprised about since the restaurant prices are not overly high. the meal is accompanied by salad, bread, a potato dish, and a vegetable dish. this is one restaurant where it is imperative to come hungry! trust me, you will be leaving very, very full, but it will be worth it. i highly recommend this restaurant for any time of the year and for any event! i also recommend making reservations. while some evenings are quite dead (because of the location of the place), others are booming and having to wait can be aggravating. on valentine’s day, we had to make reservations – without them, we wouldn’t have gotten a table period! so i would definitely recommend calling ahead, even if you are just going for dinner on a weekday. this restaurant is really quite amazing and you should try it if you have not had the pleasure already.

AWESOME !!!. The Old Orchard Inn is probably the most unique and picturesque restaurant in Western New York. My family and I have enjoyed this quaint setting for many years.I hadn’t been there in several years until last October and what really struck me was the menu. They really offer some unique dishes. I was really impressed by the Jamaican Jerk Pork Tenderloin with Pineapple Mango Chutney. My wife has always loved the Macadamia Crusted Seabass. Wow! Some great specials, a superb wine list and a view like no other, and reasonably priced ! I will not wait so long for another visit.

Traditional Spot to Take Grandma. I’ve been here several times, but not recently, so this may not be accurate with regards to the food. However, you don’t really go there for the food. It’s perfectly okay, but nothing remarkable. What is great about this place is that it’s been around forever, and the place is charming beyond belief. If you are lucky, you see ducks in the pond, so try to eat outside or in the back. On pleasant days, there is no reason to eat inside — enjoy the beautiful park-like grounds. Take grandma, linger over coffee or tea and ask her for stories about the family from long ago.
