I normally do not review restaurants on-line but I was looking up the address for my daughter who was giving it to friends at work – and I seen the review by Donald Foser – Perhaps it was a full moon for him – but my family loves this place – The staff is friendly and the food is awesome. It’s our favorite place to go and eat.We have tried many items including the breakfast- steak & eggs – cheap price – awesome taste and it’s areal steak !My husband loves the crab cakes with mac-n-cheese – at first look he thought it was a weird combo but said it worked.Other favorites of his theGreek spaghetti and chicken pot pie.Mine is thespanakopita dinner – unbelievable – always leftovers, which my eldestson loves to grab when wecome home. My daughter loves theopen euro and wraps – We have tried many dishes and have always been pleased.
Just got back from the Olive Branch restaurant. Ordered a fish fry with 3 sides and my wife ordered mac and cheese with crab cakes. The food arrived but we had no silverware. We asked for some, but the waitress went to take an order at another table before bringing it over. The fish was excellent, but the 3 sides were bad. The potatoes in the salad were hard, the coleslaw was very bland and the macaroni salad was mush. The mac and cheese had a funny taste and the crab cakes were mush. The waitress never came to check on us until we were able to flag here down. My wife returned the mac and cheese and crab cakes. She asked for a wrap instead. By the time that arrived, I was finished eating. She ended up taking it home. We will not be back.
Great food !!!!. My Olive Branch Panini is delicious. A combo of chicken souvlaki with tomatoes, onions, spinach and feta was grilled between two pitas. the generous amount of chicken was moist and flavorful. The fish fry is very good, actually I have had several items on the menu and they are all awesome. The portions are by no means skimpy, be prepared to take some food home.
A friend and I went to the Olive Branch on the morning of 12 Feb 14 on his recommendation. I had the Eggs Benidict w/ home fries. Portions were good and the food tasted good. But being served luke warm food kind of made a disappointment out of my experience there. I will try it again another day in hope that my meal will be hot. The other thing that disappointed me was my friends breakfast came when I was halfway through with my meal. Plus his home fries were also luke warm.
