Good polish food, BAD service. Had the cheese pierogis, they were great! My family went here to celebrate a birthday (7ppl). However we were taken back by how rude our waitress was towards us. She seemed miserable from the moment I came in and told her we had reservations. So from not having our table set, to her slamming down our food when serving us, to forgetting condiments and drink orders.. yelling at my aunt to move her plate that they never cleared before bringing out our main courses.. it completely ruined our experience here. Maybe we caught her on a bad day or something but you’re not going to get any return customers like that, especially any sort of tip.
Try it you’ll like it.. Dinner at the villa was very good, the pork chop and golabki combo with salad, potato pancake, and sauerkraut vegie.Very hot and tasty.Quiet atmosphere and very clean washrooms(that’s a good sign). No alcohol.Service was good too.
Excellent. A great go to place for polish food.. Love the pierogis and potato pancakes! Usually like to take the family there around easter.
Really good mostly authentic food like Grandma made
Most amazing and authentic food!. I moved out of Buffalo, back in 99 and every year when I come home, it is me and my Polish grandpa’s tradition to go here, the food is so fantastic and authentic, I don’t get Polish food in Texas, and this is the ONLY place I go for it, a must go, great family atmosphere, beyond friendly staff, great affordable prices with large portions to match!!
Very good, but they should serve beer and wine.. Although there are several restaurants in the area that have small choices of Polish specialties, there are very few that have full menus featuring of dozens of Polish favorites. Polish Villa is one of those very few.The pierogies are large and seasoned just right, with excellent texture. Homemade kluski noodles are great. Perfect potato pancakes. Everything appears to be homemade the old fashioned way.The only downside is that they do not serve beer or wine at the Union Rd. location. If I could get a beer with my dinner, I would eat here every week.
Polish Cooking just like Mom’s. Everytime I feel like having a good homecooked Polish meal, I go to Polish Villa on Union Rd.. Polish Duck Soup, Kielbasa, Pierogi’s, Pork Chops, hot Roast Beef on Weck, Fish Fry’s on Fridays, etc etc, they all taste good. Waitress’s are all very friendly and you just feel like your family guests. Plenty of coffee refills and always priced very reasonable. A small homey place with about 15 tables, or so.
