Local tradition. As a newbie to the area I had to stop and try this hot dog stand. I could not imagine how onion rings with cheese sauce would be, as to me it was out of the ordinary. Out of the ordinary is right! It makes you want to schedule your next visit for more. Italian sausage is great also. I noticed they are open for the season and I am looking forward to making this stop a regular one. Be sure to have cash or visit the nearby gas station ATM.

This place never disappoints. Everything is cooked to order and the workers are so friendly. Only thing is the limited parking and depending on how busy it is, the seating can be limited also.
Old-school done right. Red Top is a the best example of a old-school road-side stand on the east coast. Hot dogs cooked on a real charcoal grill, had-made milk shakes, good burgers and fries that make you smile. I have been driving to red top since I was six. Now I live in Columbus but everytime I am back in Hamburg I stop in. This is a family run business and it shows. They care, the food is great and you will enjoy yourself. Go!

The best Dawg in Town!!. Red Top has had and still has the best hot dawg in town!!! To kook properly you must have charcoal and good coal sets the flavor…If you want to kook on gas, well just stay on the porch cause I will not eat there….Take the time and extra effort and put flavor into you product and they will come. Would like to have chopped jalepenos on my dawg..The tall fella knows how to put bark on a dawg!
