Worse then Famous Dave’s. You know a review isn’t going to be a good one when the best I had there was the garlic bread that came with the meal.My wife and I were promptly seated which is good.My meal was the St. Louis spare ribs combo with pulled pork. Sides were fries and coleslaw.Wife’s meal was Baby Back ribs and smoked chicken wings. Sides were mashed potatoes and coleslaw. We see these huge platter type plates coming to our table and think this is gonna be huge. The plates land on the table and we look at each other as to say is this the dieters serving? The serving sizes for the prices is enough to make me not go there again. But as they say WAIT theres more, the food isn’t worth even half the price. Both servings of ribs just weren’t good, 4 1/2 hours later my stomach still feels like ca-ca. Pulled pork I’ll give them credit tasted different from other BBQ joints but had a interesting flavor all its own. Fries are fries not bad, wife really liked her mashed potatoes, she liked the coleslaw I didn’t to many little seeds of some sort in the slaw.Blue Moon beer was cold so that is a plus for them.Final opinion on this place is that we won’t be back, if I could rate it with stars it would be 2 of 5 at best.

Not a bad BBQ joint. Pulled pork sandwich was very good. Very tender and flavorful. Brunswick stew was only fair. Good flavor, but not very meaty, more like soup than stew. Still they get the basics right so I would go back.

Penthouse to the Outhouse. A group of us went on Sept. 9th to grab some food and beers. I have been to SB many times in the past, and the place WAS great! Anyhow, when we walked in, the place was empty and we were seated quickly. The hostess advised us that the pints of draft that are on sale, are not, due to the draft taps being down for over a week, and waiting to be repaired. This was a red flag to one of my friends who has worked in the restaurant industry for many years. My friend stated that the business must be in financial trouble OR hasn’t paid bills, as draft taps are the liquid money maker in the restaurant/bar business & you get them fixed the minute they go down! Anyhow, we placed our food order, and the food came out. Plates were hot, but the food was cold, and had a funny taste as if it had freezer burn. We prompty called the waitress over, advised her of our food, she apologized and just walked away. We yelled out for her to bring us our bill, which she did quickly, and reluctantly paid, vowing to never go back!

Terrible food all the way around. Apps tasted like something out if the freezer section of the local grocery store. Ordered steak. 1st steak was raw. 2nd steak tasted like it was defrosted in a microwave and then put on the grill just to get marks on it. I wouldn’t even feed to my dog. Will not ever go there again.

Went there for dinner, the service was really good and the food was great. Would definitely go back.

Classic Burger was good. I visited this place the other day and had their Classic Burger for lunch. As burgers go, it was nothing too exciting, though it was perfectly done. It was juicy and came as I ordered it, medium rare. The fries were okay and the bottomless pop/soda was good enough for me.
