Good food /fast service / just an overall nice restaurant
A Little Gem in Grand Island. An interesting building for a restaurant, assuming it was a home at one point, so its quite cosy. The service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and in my opinion, well worth the little extra money. Spicy Clam Chowder was some of the best I have tasted. The Rolo Cheesecake was yummy! Everything felt home made, real good food made with pride.
Good food. I’ve been going to the Village Inn for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. The menu is diverse, reasonably priced, and the food is always very good.
Dessert. I always enjoy going there – soups are the best – just had black bottom bourbon banada cheesecake – good thing only had one piece because I could have eaten half the pie – easily – would love recipe
Food is good, service horrible. The food here is descent if you are willing to wait a very long time for food that should not take that long and in the end is not worth the wait. Wait staff tend to chat too much with customers instead of attending to the needs of all of their tables. You get the feeling if you are not a regular there forget good service. Forget about ordering food for pick up from them. Food is never close to ready when you arrive for pick up. My belief is that they do not put the order in until you get there.
