Uncle Joe’s diner. Prices went way up. Food is mediocre at best. The omelette I ordered was runny. I sent it back only to have it come back the same way I returned it. The toast was burnt. How can you not get toast right? Why would you ever send out burnt toast. Standards just are not there. The booth had rips in the seat. I do not feel the food was good at all and the price was not reasonable.
Burnt fries, dry/chewy chewy rueben and quesadillas made from a minced up mix. They just don’t seem to care.
Great breakfast, mediocre lunch/dinner food. I love going to Uncle Joe’s Diner for breakfast on the weekend. They have a huge diverse menu of many options and their servers are wonderful. Me and my husband have tried a variety of their breakfast offerings and they are all stellar. We did try them for lunch/dinner one day and the food was not what I was expecting. We both ordered burgers and they tasted like they had been precooked and then placed into water til someone ordered them. It was not appetizing at all and was disappointing considering their breakfast foods are so good. I will stick with breakfast only and go to other places for a good burger.
Great Place!. Sunday morning breakfast at Uncle Joe’s has been a tradition in my family for years. You can never go wrong with the food. Good size quanities for a great price. The food there is always of high quality. The fish fry is awesome! I’ve actually had out of town family members ask me to bring it with me when I visit! My personal favorites are the Pittsburgh Salad with the homemade french fries and the Chicken Wing Chowder! DELISH!
Great Food Great Service!. I love this place. It truly is a landmark in Hamburg. I bring my kids there anytime of the day and they always love it. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. What more could you ask for. The menu has almost anything you could ever want on it. I can even order take out food. There is a car show in the summer on Tuesday nights that is a lot of fun too. I give Uncle Joe’s a thumbs up.
The breakfast menu has gone downhill at Uncle Joes over the last few years. They overcharge for subpar food. The corned beef hash looks like it came straight out of a Hormel can.
Interesting decor, boring food.
