Decent food, okay price. I visited Wasabi last weekend for the first time. The service was wonderful and the calamari was very good. My dinner was decent, nothing mind-blowing, though, but you do get a nice portion size. My beef ribs were far from marinated and dry in taste. No real flavor that you’d expect from fresh Japanese food. Knowing that there are so many other sushi options elsewhere, I’d probably do that for dinner. However, their lunch specials are priced very well and they come with a great amount of food.

Pros: Grilled Marinated Beef Ribs, Yakitori, Miso soupCons: No Wi-FiIs it a good restaurant for kids? NoIs it good choice for big groups? MaybeOn Friday around 5:30PM, the restaurant was almost empty and when we arrived there, the hostess directed us to sit at our table. The restaurant is not so big, but it is a nice play. Plus the parking lot, even sharing with another stores and a super market is enough to accommodate all the customers. The waitress was very nice and friendly. She was always aware when she needs to refill my soda glass. Unfortunately, they don’t serve rolls. So we decided to ask for Yakitori starter. Delicious! Two skewers and that was enough for me and my wife. This time I decided to try the Grilled Marinated Beef Ribs.Overall, the experience was fantastic as always. I did never have a moment where I came to this location and did not like. My meal had a great presentation and the taste on the same level. I really have nothing to talk bad about it. So, with the combination of good food and good service, always make this restaurant a big YES when we decide where we are going to lunch or dinner.

The sushi was good and decor was nice, but the service was horrible. Phantom waitstaff; even when we just wanted to pay the bill. There are plenty of sushi options in buffalo, so I will not return to Wasabi.

Not what it use to be. Back in the day, I use to love Wasabi.. now not so much. The quality of their food as deteriorated and the freshness as become quite questionable. Not to mention, they could use so serious improvements at pick up orders (always have to double check my order on site). I usually get one or two special rolls whose portions are a bit disappointing at times and whose presentation is lacking. The staff is always friendly and the service is fast. The decor is great, but overall it doesn’t make it up for the mediocre food. (Would now recommend KOI sushi, which is just up the street)

Great sushi. My daughters live in NYC and we have enjoyed the sushi there, BUT, whenever they come to town WASABI’s is the first place we hit. it is always delicious and we are going today for lunch..

Good, fresh, and consistent. Wasabi has become one of my regular pit stops. If there is one thing I really appreciate from any restaurant, it’s consistency in service and quality, and Wasabi has always granted me that. The menu is nothing mind-blowing, but the sushi/sashimi/nigiri is always beautifully presented and fresh, and the dressing on the green salad is downright addicting. There are also several options for those who aren’t keen on the real raw deal. Prices are reasonable, lunch specials are a great deal and the shumai is delicate and delectable! I have to say I’m very surprised at the negative feedback, as I’ve never had a bad experience. Give them a shot!

Terrible and Overprice place. I’ve recently ordered from this place and expected to pay more for restaurant quality sushi. But to my surprise, the sushi turns out to be terrible. The sushi looked like it was haphazardly put together by a child. And it taste terrible. The worse part of all, it was expensive. Will not go back there again. Wegmans sushi taste a lot better and way cheaper.
