Stayng in Buffalo this restaurant is very convenient to several hotels in the area. We dined on the chicken wings, and ranch potatoes for a late night snack at the bar the first night. The bartender who waited on was extremely friendly and made the best margarita! The snacks were delicious. The second night we dined on mussels for an appetizer. The mussels were sweet but small. The amount plentiful amount made up for the smallness. The sauce they were presented in was delicious with just the right amount of garlic and tanginess. For the main course we dined on the ribeye special and shrimp linguuini. The ribeye you could cut with a fork and the butter seasoning made for one of the best steaks in a very long time. The shrimp linguini was also scumptous!! Highly recommended and ask for Frank and Rich at the bar for the best drinks around!
Save your hard earned money Buffalo!!!. Keep on driving down the road! You won’t find good food here. I went there with my husband. We thought we’d try someplace new in the Southtowns. The food was terrible and the manager was so rude and arrogant. I ordered a pork chop stuffed with spinach. It claimed to have a glaze of chili sauce but instead it was covered and swimming in sauce. I couldn’t eat it because it was so sweet and over powering. My husband had a roast beef au jus’; but instead of au jus they brought a salt lick of gravy. The owner was so rude and crass about it – just didn’t seem to care. Thankfully our waiter was nice. Save your money! Go elsewhere.
What a waste!. Our waiter was nice, but the food was terrible and the owner treated us like garbage. The calamari appetizer tasted like breaded oil, the pork chop my wife had was doused in a putrid sweet sauce, and my French Dip came with a side of GRAVY that was so salty it was unpalatable. The waiter was apologetic, but when the pompous owner came over to ask how our meal was he just shrugged when I told him it was not good. He frowned and stared me down with a lingering look of disgust so I relayed the details above and he never apologized. All he offered to do was have someone water-down my horrible gravy, insisting it is au jus, just thicker than normal. The result? I was brought a small a bowl of onion soup in which to dip my French Dip. DO NOT GO HERE if you are on the fence…terrible food and the owner is an arrogant ass.
No more Sunday Brunch. We are not going to the sunday brunch any longer. We have been stopping in for brunch at the Waterstone about twice a month for the last year. Last week the staff seemed like no one wanted to even work there and it took me about 30 min to get a refill on my water with lemon. Then 15 min wait to get my check. Terrible service!
Shay no longer works there.. Shay no longer works here. She was such a pleasent girl and a great server. What a shame, The food is ok but its the people that bring you steady customers. Seems like a high volume of worker turnover lately.
Wonderful staff. Went for lunch and sandwiches were great! (Also thanks to the manager for helping us look for our missing dog)
