We have eaten here many times. I will not eat there again. I decided to order the BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and you can choose a side. I choose the fries. Upon arrival the fries were cold and unsalted. The BBQ ck was loaded on the plate (no bun) and yellow in color. I asked for a bun, waitress appoligized. After putting the sandwich together myself and tasted it…it was terrible. Told the waitress and manager how terrible it tasted only to be told it was Carolina BBQ sauce. We think that should have been mentioned upon ordering. Since the pics have bright red BBQ sauce! The sauce was so nasty I couldn’t even taste the chicken (hope it really was chicken)! I couldn’t eat it. They at least did not charge us for it. Manager and waitress very stand offish!
Zebb’s Veteran. I’ve gone to Zebb’s dozens of times over the past decade, & I’ve very rarely been disappointed in any way…and it’s not just because of the Purple Haze Margaritas, lolI usually get either surf & turf, fish fry, or a burger; Hubby usually gets a burger or ribs. One time, I was served a really tiny cut of steak, & one time Hubby’s ribs were dry. Every other time, delicious!! I do have to mention how much I hate the canned gravy they slop onto the mashed potatoes- It’s really salty. Otherwise, the prices are good, the food’s good, the atmosphere is good, & the desserts are good (especially the cookies!!) Sometimes, the wait staff has been annoying, but never enough to keep me from coming back! One time, Hubby & I were apparently waiting a really long time for our food (we were too wrapped up in conversation to notice), & so the manager gave us our meals for free. I really have no complaints <3
Completely unacceptable. Two adults and one 11 year old for dinner on a Saturday night, 7:30. The tables were unclean, sticky. Waitress was sullen and distant; appetizer was incorrectly made, taken away, returned in 30 seconds and claimed to have been remade from scratch; my French dip was not edible. Meat was cold and stuck together. Roll unable to be picked up. Just about the worst service, attitude, food and atmosphere possible. How is this place even in business?Avoid at all costs.
Ok, tuna melt is not a melt. It’s tuna on toasted rye bread. Not saying its bad, cause its not, it’s actually pretty good. Just saying don’t expect a melted sandwich when you order. French onion soup is outstanding!
The food was terrible & the service was even worse! 20min for drinks, 40min for food, and another hour before we saw the waitress again to get our check! They will never see my family in there again!
Grossssss!. We arrived on a Saturday evening before 8pm. I’m assuming they had just had there Saturday dinner crowd because our waitress looked like she just got done from her smoke break and she looked as though she smoked something extra special. The boneless Buffalo wing appetizer was overcooked and hard, the chicken sandwich and cheesesteak were greasy and slimy. The peppers on the cheesesteak were not cooked, but the steak was burned. I understand that Zebb’s is not the best choice for a good meal, but we were just looking for a decent quick bite to eat and they couldn’t even fulfill that. Do the region and yourself a favor: don’t eat there and help put them out of business!
