Hossible service. I am appalled by this restaurant and their poor customer service etiquette. My family and I came in for lunch. After about 20 min of ordering our drinks I had yet to get my coffee so my husband politely asked the waitress to bring it over and if he could have some more as well. The waitress abruptly looked at him and proceeded to call him a jerk and walked away. We weren’t sure if we had heard her correctly so when she returned he asked if he heard her correctly and she said yes she did. My husband asked for the manager who was also the owner and after explaining the situation the manager proceeded to tell him she has no time for this. I have never felt so degraded or disrespected in a restaurant. Especially for the fact that I witnessed my husband complete positive mannerisms to the waitress and there was no reason for him to be treated in such a manner. To which we were asked to leave. Seriously? I will never return to this restaurant ran by such inadequate ownership and abhorrent workers.
Horrid Experience. We decided to take a ride out to the Zider Zee today after remembering the 4 out of 4 star rating in Gusto last year. What a mistake!!!. I ordered the Chicken/Rib BBQ Special Friday through Sunday & my husband ordered the Big Buck Breakfast. The ribs never made it out until we were finished & ready to leave. They kept telling us they were on their way. The skin on the chicken was not at all crispy, but really soft. When I asked to speak with the manager because I felt our experience was unacceptable, the woman whose picture was shown in Gusto came to the table & just stood there. I asked her what was going on with our order & she looked at me & said she burned the first order & put another one on for us. She never apologized, never offered to take anything off our bill for the inconvenience, nothing. I told our waitress when we arrived that it was our first visit there & it was a cute place so I was planning on taking my nieces out there. That will never happen!! They could have at least came to the table & said what was going on instead of just letting us sit there & wonder. The fact that there was NO apology offered really infuriated me. That is not the way you treat customers. When you have a special & you are the owner, you should know how to cook your food. We will never return & we frequent many, many restaurants. We were unable to think of the last time we had a bad experience at a restaurant, but this place gets a 4 Thumbs Down. I will make sure my friends are aware of the experience so they don’t waste their time.

We think this place is great we stopped in an wow clean friendly fast on service polite great food If I ever would get cold food that was to be hot u ask to re heat been there an done that at others after all u pay for what u get But this plkace is great an will go there They r open later than a lot of restaurant GREAT
Waiting to check it out. We only used to hit the place for breakfast on our way out 16..over the last 13 yrs. Recently we heard it had new owners..Will try for seafood dinners over lent..Fingers crossed !!! Happy to see hours are extended as well..Will update ; p
Nice find. Good casual homey place to eat if you’re in the area. I recently tried it for the first time and found the food good and very fair prices. The service was good. I was there for dinner, pot roast was decent. My wife got an omelet that looked really good. I’m not much of a dessert person, but the pies looked too good to resist, and they tasted even better. Glad I stopped in, and I plan to be going back for breakfast.
Never Again. So disappointed. Read article in Gusto so we tried Zider Zee today. Soup was cold, vegetables cold, mashed potatoes cold. Our waitress disappeared and never came back. Food just ok even when sent back to get hot. Never going back.
