Large selection of soups. They have 100 recipies that they alt each day. There are 12 offered each day. Friendly staff, who were happy to offer as many samples as you wanted to try. Delicious and unusual soups as well as standards such as chicken noodle. I ordered beef barley, lemon basil chicken and ginger squash. All vere very good. You were offered a choice of bread to go with your soup. I will definitely be back.
If it weren’t for the Combo available…. Today was the first time I had ever eaten at Zoup. I wasn’t too hungry so I really wanted only a small serving of soup. The price of the ‘Side’ serving was, I thought, ridiculous. I wanted Lobster Bisque and it cost a bit more, not by much, than the other soups. I spotted a ‘Combo’ option, which made the price more bearable. For the same price of the ‘Side’ serving, by going with the ‘Combo’, I had a bread bowl with Lobster Bisque. I was pleasantly surprised at how good both soup and bread were. I didn’t care for the fact that the drink was not included in the Combo. Seriously? Who doesn’t include a drink? I really appreciated that not only could I ‘sample’ any soup I wanted, it was encouraged. And the sample was quite generous. The staff made us feel a bit rushed and, when we ordered, we were not offered the option of what type of bread we wanted for our bread bowl. We only realized this when overhearing other customers, obviously after us, being offered the option. I thought it was pricey for the amount of soup served in the bread bowl, with no drink included, in the ‘Combo’. I think you get more for your money, if you are looking for a good ‘soup, sandwich and/or salad’ meal, at Panera. I will go there again, but I will be on the watch for coupons and specials.
Great Soup. I had Chicken Pot Pie soup, my friend had Lobster Bisque. Both were absolutely delicious. They were served nice and hot with a fresh piece of bread. Really tasty. We also ordered the mozzarella, tomato, and basil sandwich. The bread was fresh but very skimpy on the mozzarella cheese. Won’t get that again. I think there should be a nice slab of mozzarella on a mozzarella sandwich. All in all, a little pricey but the soup is worth it.
Meh at best. Soup was nothing spectacular. Veggies that were in it were definitely not fresh. The salad was your basic cobb. Again nothing spectacular. Sandwich was ok. On the pricy side as well. A cup of soup, a salad and a half of a sandwich with 2 medium drinks was $24.
