I so want to like this place being in my town and all but I’ve been there six or seven times and it’s never a home run. Tonight, we sat down well after our reservation time and our waitress was basically one notch above horrible. The food was ok but the service or lack there of was terrible. I hope who ever owns this place reads this review. PLEASE train your staff properly and everything else will fall into place. From the bartender to the hostess and then our waitress, none of them belong anywhere better than Applebee’s. I’m not trying to be mean. Please train your staff to be attentive, caring and most of all appreciative. Seriously.

Don’t go!!!. Terrible service, terrible prices for average food, it tries to be something it is not. Drinks are over priced and they pick your side for you. You couldn’t pay me to eat here again.

Pizza Lacks Flavor. Compane does have some positives. It is a nice atmosphere and our food came out fast. My pizza however was supposed to have bazil and didn’t. It also had hardly any cheese. The sauce was too sweet and the crust was burnt. I know its wood fired but I’ve had others that are much better and the crust wasn’t inedible.

Delicious!. I am so surprised to read any unfavorable reviews about Compane! This is our ‘go to’ place when we are hungry , tired and just want a nice dinner. I’ve NEVER had a bad meal here. I love the bread in the paper bag- it’s a different touch. It’s a bit loud because there’s a lot of stone work- nothing to absorb the sound…but it’s cozy and inviting. I recommend it all the time. I’ve NEVER had a better vodka sauce anywhere- including in Italy!

My wife and I have been there on many occasions. We’ve enjoyed every meal. This family owned business really does what it takes to provide a wonderful dining experience time after time.

We’ve tried it on four occasions and as much as I want to love this place, I can’t because something always goes wrong here! Go to Bistro 135 in ER instead.

Great Village Restaurant. Over all I really like this place. We have eaten here close to 10 times and only one real bad experience. The food is usually very good and the atmosphere is great. Love their pizza’s, the clam Appetizer is fantastic and so are the Aracini. My one bad experience involved a pizza with a less then crispy crust. The waiter new it wasnt up to par but I wanted to eat with my family and it wasnt too bad. That is until I bit into a big chunk of charcoal. Its a wood fired oven and some of that wood was under the pizza. Lots of it actually as I discovered. This I had to tell the waiter. By now my family was well on their way into their dinners and I didnt want to wait for another pizza, but the waiter insisted that it would be done quickly. I begrudgingly agreed, but ended up asking him to just box it to go as my family was done eating. Imagine my surprise when the bill came at that pizza was still on it. Never an apology from the waiter about the charcoal and he charged me for a pizza that I had to take home and reheat to eat. I should have complained to the management, but it just wasnt worth it at the time. I still go back, but i will never lose the bad feeling I have from that experience.
