Tasty Caribbean Cuisine @ Dominican Restaurant 4. We had Mother’s Day dinner at Dominican Restaurant 4. The restaurant was very busy between the dine-in and takeout crowds.Our server, Danny, was very gracious and attentive to us. We both had a bottle of Presidente each to start, but the restaurant features a full bar. My spouse requested an order of potato salad as an appetizer for sharing. Her entre was chicharrnes de pollo. Mine was mofongo de chicharrnes. We split an order of baked pork ribs and took a portion home with two chicharrn de pollo plus the unfinished red beans and white rice. We ended with coffees that were supposed to be cortados and one very rich pastel de tres leches. The coffee was still espresso, but with too much milk, not steamed, to be a cortado Our victuals were quite tasty. Then, freshly baked pernil came to the steam table as we ate. My jaw dropped. The pork came white and juicy. The skin had been visually crisped to perfection. Oh well, there should be a next time.

Absolutely great homemade food. Recently renovated interior vey nice and warm, makes you want to eat in. Skirt steak and traditional mofongo is must to try
Awesome. Great food and service. They even allowed me to order from the door when walking by with the dog. I got enough in one meal to eat twice. Haven’t ever been disappointed. Try everything!
Dominican Restaurant. Decent food, big portions… can’t think of much else to say; check the menu for your faves and try it out.I personally prefer other lunch choices in the area, particularly a Caribbean place with some of the same menu options.
