Tasty Pub Fare in Farmingdale. I have been to Library Caf several times with either my brother or spouse over the last decade. It has more of a sports bar aura than a caf feel to me, maybe because those days were Sunday afternoons. The bar is boisterous and the tables are usually near capacity. The most recent stop was the Sunday prior to Christmas with my brother. I ordered a Bloody Mary cocktail and their Bistro Burger, opting for salad over the fries. My sibling went with a draught domestic beer, I believe, and, definitely, the Shrimp Po’ Boy. My brother and I were satisfied as usual. We both believe that this is one of the better pub fare places on the Island. My spouse is not a pub food person but she has found something to nosh on during her visits. I recommend Library Caf. If you are into pub fare and can tolerate a loud din, you won’t be disappointed.
