Highly recommended by Hyatt House. First appearances, especially on a quiet Monday night, did not do this excellent food justice, although the sight of a CIA jacket in the kitchen allayed our fears. Outstanding cuts of meat, both the center pork chop and sirloin steak, were well-prepared and complimented by delicious light sauces. The scallops and orzo plate and fresh brazino and spinach, on request instead of white beans, were fresh and extremely tasty. The owner stopping by our table with his private stash of homemade olives added to to our overall experience!
A long drive but well worth the effort. The Patio is right on the street but the village of Fishkill is so quaint the passers by do not intrude, but add to the overall charm. We started with Mussels in a very delicate Garlic, Vermouth Sauce that was wonderful. This was followed by the Fish Specials, Grilled Red Snapper and a Grilled obscure Mediterranean Sea Bass. Both were done simply with very nice spices and could have been served whole at the table or as we chose Filleted in the kitchen.Wine selections were extensive and our choices were very good.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, extensive selection of delicious Italian wines! Driving from Manhattan every weekend to taste Graziano’s food! Great deals on Sunday brunches as well! Totally love it!
Really wanted to love this place – beautiful, historic home lovingly redone as a restaurant. The food was fair at best. My companion ordered garganelli – basically ziti with meatballs with a ricotta salata garnish. It was a basic filet to Di pomodoro sauce with three tiny meatballs. Nothing to rave about. I ordered Branzino over polenta. The fish was well cooked and flaky but incredibly bland. Not even a squeeze of lemon to brighten it up. The polenta was sauced with the same tomato sauce that was on the pasta. $90 for two salads, 1 glass of wine and two middling entrees. We won’t be back.
I must say, awesome food. Great service. Cute place, people were friendly. Bartender (mark) was great. Definitely will go back.
