Hands down the best thai food in the Hudson valley!
Excellent food! Will definately go often!!
Very good food, authentic atmosphere. Very expensive though.
Dont go here….the owner doesn’t deserve your money
Fresh Herbs… YUM!. My husband and I ate here last week. We no longer patronize the place in Poughkeepsie on Raymond, and were delighted to find another Thai restaurant in the region. The food here is prepared with first rate fresh ingredients that include the real deal spices that are missing from so much of the ‘bottle sauce’ Thai cooking that is served at most other places around here. The decor is lovely, and the owner and chef came to say hello. Yeah, the button on the table for service is weird, especially for a place of this size… we tried the button, and then just motioned to our server before he saw we had rung for him…lol. But the food is head and shoulders above other local offerings.
I had such a wonderfully prepared and delightful authentic Thai dinner at the Golden Budda last night! It was so good I had to return for lunch today Seriporn and her staff were delightful and made us feel like we were in a special place in Thailand. The beautiful ladies in colorful Thai attire and great food are not to be missed so if near Fiskill Village highway 84,route 9. stop in and enjoy a wonderful treat. Nice intimate ambiance enjoy!
Delicious new Thai restaurant. We really miss places like Thai Market and Planet Thai down in the city, which aren’t necessarily the best or most authentic Thai restautants, but their curries are consistent and their pad thai not clumpy or starchy. The flavors at Golden Buddha were vibrant and light, with just a nice touch of that real sour funk so great about ‘home style’ Thai food. So much better than the old place, and, alas, simply better than Sukkothai in Beacon — elegant, modern, and peaceful re-design as well. Couldn’t be happier about the new addition to our culinary map.
