Lunch at otto’s. We sat outside to listen to the bad. Our waiter did not come to our table for almost 15 minutes before we were able to order a drink. Then getting the drinks was another 10+ minutes and the soda was filled only 2/3 of the glass (it looked like someone took a big gulp out of it before it was brought to us. We ordered appetizers and an entree each. It was another 35 minutes and we finally got our appetizers and lunch together. My tilapia was lukewarm, the veggies were watery and seeping into my fish and my husband’s grilled tuna(was cold and chewy) salad. There was no cheese or nuts in it as was stated. We never did get our bread basket and they forgot the cold slaw that was part of my entree. The server was awful too. I will never go back to this restaurant, it was a waste of money. I have had better foodin cheap pubs.

He did NOT offer to come over to rectify the situation in person. But TOLD the waiter to take $25.00 off the lobster dinner price of $50.00 The waiter obviously saw it was legit and was appalled himself, but could not do much more. He was more concerned than the manager. I was not looking for a free dessert/meal/ drinks but a little more concern for a patron who was not happy about the quality of the lobster.Do NOT eat there.

Not to good…sorry I went. Went here for work with some Out of town guests- the table we were at was a foot lower on one side as the other side. the flowers on the table were gross, better off to have nothing- the staff was not impressive, the guy taking our orders could not even say the name of the fish or read the specials correctly. the backed clams were ok, coconut shrim, burnt, and we got three shrimp, not cheap, but a cheap portion. the dinners were just ok, we ate from the fried clams, to sea bass special, to pasta possillipo, to a burger- no one was like- wow, this is great- then the bus box spills on one of my guests grease down his sleeve- and then says he didnt do it- really- the place seemed dirty, and old and the bar area inside was filled with annoying people. i dont think i will be back to this place, there are tons of better choices on woodclef canal i am sure.
Aw, what happen!!?? Just read the review, I’m disappointed. I went there like 5th times – last time was in 2009. I enjoyed the meals. Time has change? If it’s true then go N get Gordon Ramsey!!
6/11/10 had dinner here. The food was terrible. Scallops had no flavor,potato was old. The special appetizer stuffed mushrooms were awful. I think it’s a good place fir drinks. Don’t waste your money on dinner. Go to the Crab Shack so much better and cheaper.
Avoid at all costs. Went for lunch, what a huge mistake. The soup was served cold and my girlfriend commented that Campbells’ tasted fresher. The oysters were bad and we were charged $13 for a SINGLE crab cake that was hardly bigger than a silver dollar. I was charged $2.50 for an iced tea refill and, this is the real killer, after spending almost $50 on a horrible lunch, I was charged a $3 splitting fee because we shared the soup, oysters and sandwich. I won’t even go into how poor the service was. Just stay away from this place.
