What a waste. Should be your last choice in Greenport. Oh so mediocre. There are so many better places in town so don’t waste your time at this less than stellar establishment.
This place was recommended to us for their cocktails, so I assumed the food wouldn’t be that great. However, both the cocktails and the food were delicious. Off-season and on a Wednesday the place was dead but I was very happy with my fried okra, the rack of lamb and the caramelized banana shortcake for dessert. My SO’s steak was delicious as well. We were less impressed with the flourless chocolate cake, but the accompanying pumpkin ice cream was great. All in all it was enjoyable. The price makes it somewhere to avoid for an everyday dinner, but for our special occasion it was great.
Having spent much time during my summer in Greenport and seeing the restaurant always busy I decided to give it a try. I wish I hadn’t. The food was not even sub par. My Tuna not even remotely eatable and my dates food followed suit. For such sub par food the pricing was unreasonable and service was deplorable. I have eaten at the finest restaurants from Montauk to Manhattan and incurred bills for two that many would pay for a small party and this was by far not only one of the least memorable dining experiences but also one of the most unenjoyable. I was so dissatisfied with every aspect of my experience that I went out of my way to make an account to make this post.
Great find.. Awesome ecclectic farm to table, local restaurant! Very fresh and very creative, kind of like a Greenport USC. A bit pricier though

I have to say, this place deserves a lot of credit!!
The name is misnomer but the food is good. It is a bit like mineola on vacation but for the area I would be happy going back there
