The most pretentious place I’ve ever encountered . Every dish they brought to is was the wrong one. They said they were booked for the night but the place was empty the whole time we sat down. The shrimp was bad and so was the restaurant.
Sitting outside on a warm summer night having small plates and a cocktail is wonderful. Great choices on the creative New American menu include local beet risotto, pulled BBQ duck and crab tacos. My husband had a special which was very good – striped bass with corn succotash. The key lime pie was a perfect ending.
Yum! Smallish plates of creatively presented and VERY tasty food, slightly on the expensive side. I enjoyed the Duck Confit, our guest the Andouille Eggs Benedict — both off the brunch menu — and my wife the Atlantic cod fish and chips. Excellent service.
Loved it!. Sat outside. Enjoyed the whole experience. Everything was delicious. I’d definitely go back and would recommend wholeheartedly.
Creative. Great small plates, large plates, and local raw bar menus w/ a top notch barman to boot. It gets a bit slow when packed, but just enjoy yourself, watch the people, and use the extra time to vote at your table and whittle down the 94 things you want to order.Spring vegetable risotto was clean w/ only the flavors of asparagus, spring garlic, peas, and the texture of the perfectly done risotto. Crab Deviled Eggs were a suprise with a sweet and VERY lemony dressing for the crab and yolk. That would have been enough of the lemon, but the same sweet lemon was used in the Crispy Tasmanian Red Crab tacos. Good execution, but overloaded on the sweet. When that crab is soooo damn good on its own.Oysters were gorgeous.Definitely a ‘hep’ spot with a talented chef.
Candle lit/romantic. Superb wine list and excellent lobster risotto!
