A real Gem. I couldn’t be happier that the town of West Harrison has another restaurant on its strip and Lago is a gem. I have been there twice since it opened 2 weeks ago and both times the food and service has been outstanding. I highly recommend the pappardelle and kale salad. The bartenders Rob and Marina make you feel welcome and Val the owner made it a point to be friendly to his customers, I wish them all success!

We have been twice since they opened. Last night we ordered a pasta dish that was prepared table side. They brought out a huge cheese wheel and poured cognac in it and lit it on fire to melt the cheese. When the cheese was soft on the surface, they added three types of mushrooms and a wide noodle pappardelle pasta and tossed it all together. It was EXCELLENT!!! For apps, we had a cheese and salumi board and some calamari. Beautiful restaurant with a very comfortable atmosphere.
It’s okay, pricey. Lago is new to our neighborhood, it has taken the place of other dining spots that didn’t make it. The atmosphere is very nice, the dining room is very dark. I had the ribeye steak, cooked medium rare, my wife had the spaghetti ala carbonara. The ribeye was a bit fatty, and close to the bone, was almost tartare. Definitely not a $38 dollar cut. The carbonara was extremely salty. I like salt, and it was almost too much for me. The wine selection was nice, and an $8 glass of pinot noir finds no complaints. The $12 8oz. Jack and Coke is way over priced. I don’t think I’d go back. Sorry
Authentic Italian food. West Harrison needed a restaurant that could cater to families while providing fresh food. So far, we had a Trevi and japanese restaurant. Lago has revived the area. It’s amazing food, high end personalized service from Louis and his staff is just outstanding 5 stars. Our 2nd visit in one week. Just amazing experience
New restaurant. Great Italian food. Had the pizza and pasta with meatballs. All homemade pastas. Meatballs wee great. Tomato sauce is excellent. Great service. Overall really good experience.
