Delicious!. I have eaten at Silver Lake Cafe for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner and Dessert.Breakfast-Amazing omelets, my personal fave spinach, grilled onions and feta. I have also had egg sandwiches with sausage and cheese on a roll. The rolls are not your ordinary kaiser roll, fresh Portugese rolls, very tasty. Steven (owner) made me stuffed french toast for my birthday one year, spectacular!! I’m not sure if that is on the menu but if it is try it!!Lunch/Dinner-my usual is the salad with grilled chicken, onions, goat cheese and apples. I add a some cranberries to it and when available I switch the apples and get grilled pears. They are very accomodating if you want to change an item in the menu. Today I switched it up and had a cajun salad with grilled onions, corn, avocado, very tasty. The chicken had a nice kick to it. My other fave is the bagel stick sandwiches. They have several types, ham, turkey etc, I have eaten them all and don’t have a favorite, well maybe the ham and arugula. They put these gems in the panini press machine and they are amazing, a must try.For dessert there is a variety of ice cream and home baked goods. Now that I am writing this I think I will buy a homemade muffin and make a sundae next time.
I love this place. The food, portions and service are excellent. The owner runs an excellent lunch service for camp and has saved me more than once this summer. When it’s nice we also love going down in the morning for breakfast so we can sit outside.
