Italian food to make your mouth water in anticipation. I’ve nary eaten better Italian food than I have at Trevi! This restaurant has become one of my family’s go-to spots to celebrate various occasions — from Mother’s Day, to my graduation from Columbia’s graduate school, to friends’ birthdays. The milieu is tasteful, subdued, and elegant, allowing for comfortable conversation among the people with whom we dine at tables. Often, otherwise fabulous restaurants can be diminished by the boisterous clamor, but Trevi avoids this with an extremely pleasant interior to go hand-in-hand with the superlative quality of cuisine on the menu. My mouth is literally watering with a Pavlovian response as I remember the pappardelle I ordered the last time I ate at Trevi! I live about four hours away now, but I cannot wait to get my premier Italian fix the next time I’m in town!
