Disappointed, won’t return. Restaurant week, I expect to get a great meal. below average. small portions, not much flavor, the weird serving of a half slice of bread, and last by not least, the cookie on the dessert plate was stale. Why is everyone raving? the wait staff was attentive.
Amazing. Valet service, greet at the door, the staff is on point with every step of service even bringing it back oldschool, the way it should be! i wish the restaurant was bigger tho felt slightly cramped but once you meet your neighbors it just adds to the atmosphere! will return!

Food, decor, service: Top notch!. This unexpected gem in the heart of Haverstraw is truly to die for. The atmosphere is lively yet upscale. The manager, Paolo, makes it a point to check on every table personally and is attentive and charming. The food and drinks are fantastic…creative and delicious Latin fusion fare. Overall favorable experience based on the 6 times I’ve been there. Do not miss the Metapan patio area outside in the back!
The best cosmopolitan eating experience in the Haverstraw area!. Ready? Here we go…I have been a long time resident of Haverstraw and I have seen it go thru thick and thin. This restaurant is a milestone in the village’s renaissance. The atmosphere is very, very relaxing (did somebody say siesta?). I really felt like I was at the Colonial City in Santo Domingo, DR. The food was delicious and well prepared. The waiting time was not bothersome at all. Their selection of drinks (specially the spirited type…YUMMY) was pretty darn good. To add to the great atmosphere Latin music was playing in the background and anything went. From Merengue to Baladas and of course Bachata. The price was not bad and should be, to most people, a once-a-month join. The only thing that can become a problem, on a busy night, is parking otherwise you should be fine. This place is located in the heart a Downtown Haverstraw. I will definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and colleagues. I really hope they can stay in business for decades to come.
Another Winner. Cate and myself headed north to Haverstraw and went to Union. It was wonderful. The staff were all festive and nice. The food was great!!!! We would go back in a heart beat.
5-Star Dining Experience. This restaurant put the blood back into the veins of Haverstraw. Excellent food, Excellent service, Excellent selections, Excellent drinks and Excellent atmosphere! Union tops the charts for dining in Rockland County. If your looking for an all around great experience…this is a MUST and have the Sangria, you won’t be disappointed!!
