It is hard to believe that fine dining is available in such a remote location, but the Big Moose Inn has a very skilled and creative chef, and their dining room is always a popular spot with locals and vacationers.
The Big Moose Inn has not changed a bit. I recommend the bar food was great. We got a chance to chat about a little bit of the history with the owner which was interesting and he seems like a nice guy.

This place has great food and a rustic atmosphere. Best Reuben Ever! Hands down! My husband got the blackened prime rib sandwich and sat it was excellent. Definitely on my places to eat list!
Nice stop for some hot food while snowmobiling. We had the French onion soup and a blackened prime rib sandwich, both were very good. Cute place to eat or have a drink and rooms to stay in as well.
