I visited this place with a friend of mine since we were craving badly for parathas. Since he has been a regular to this place so wanted to take me. We ordered for Paneer paratha and it was quiet good. A well stuffed paratha crispy on top and nicely balanced on spices. Liked it. Next was chole bhature and to my amazement it was wonderful. I have not thought it to be good enough but chole was cooked beautifully and It was no less than what we have in India. Also, this shop has varieties of sweets and I would like it visit it again before I leave to taste the sweets.
Low quality food. Low Quality food..They serve foul smelling, rotten vegetables all the time..I have had bad experience three times…so I don’t go there anymore.
Horrible customer service. Extremely rude woman who runs this place. We went with a group of friends and 3 kids, ordered a lot of food, were having a great time and the kids had been sitting at the table playing on their phones. The restaurant was not even busy, we did not realize that the kids got up at some point and started running around. The woman came aroundclapped her hands loudly and shouted, KIDS this is a restaurant not a playground! We were all shocked at her outburst. Instead of asking or complaining to us, she shouted at kids. We decided to leave without tip and she had the audacity to come and ask for tip.We told her that you were extremely rude and do not deserve the tip. She kept mumbling and complaining. Never had such a horrible experience at any cafe/restaurant. Rajbhog is a much better place to go to!

Loved It!. Went here today after trying almost all of the Indian restaurants in Hicksville, and I have to say that their paranthas and chaats top all. With the paranthas made to order, waiting is perfectly fine cause they are so worth it. Probably the biggest parantha I have ever seen, and it lasts the whole day. With over 15 different varities of paranths, you can ever get bored, and they are always so delicious. The sweets are also amazingly fresh and balanced, while not being too sweet. This is now my favorite Indian restaurant around here and im definitely coming back
Horrible service, okay food. My husband and i started loving the paranthas there 2 years ago but there was a long wait. 2 years later, the service is still that bad – eternal wait times…the paranthas are reasonable…we tried their sweets and hated them.the 6.95 weekend buffet is all greasy oily stuff. we visited them million times only to find that the service sucks under pressure…there is a long line of customers waiting to order and pay and i have seen people change there minds and leave the store after standing for 20 minutes or more…they should have devised a strategy by now…the ambience is homely but the music that plays everyday is some boring instrumental version of indian film songs…we kept going back there because of their reasonable prices but our taste buds are finally tired and we are not going back again
Can’t believe the owners are arguing here!!!. The food used to be good but now its average and somethings are below average. The bread had a weird smell to it and was inedible!! Also the service is horrible and the owners are rude to the customers!
