  Best Donuts on Long Island. I have been going here since I was a kid, if you want great donuts – these are the absolute best. They have great coffee too !!

  You Will NEVER Eat A Dunkin’ Donut Again!. I can only speak for the donuts here…specifically, the marble cruller.I was driving down Broadway in Hicksville one day about a year ago after enjoying a spectacular Indian buffet for lunch. While stopped at a light, I was overcome by possibly the most enticing aroma I’ve ever experienced. I looked to my right, saw the House of Donuts, and proceeded to drive several blocks out of my way to turn around and pull up to this place.Once inside, I asked the very friendly woman behind the counter to give me whatever donut I was smelling from the road. She handed me a still hot marble cruller and I never, EVER could go near a Dunkin’ Donuts again.As another reviewer said, these donuts are the real thing. Crunchy on the outside and packed with scrumptious cake (rather than grease and air) inside, they are a meal in themselves. I have been hooked now for the past year and I have turned everyone at work on to this place.I have to admit that it’s kind of a time warp when you walk in there, but what you walk out with is well worth the kind of creepy vibe you might get from the people sitting at the 1960’s-style counter.Check this place out the next time you are passing by. Remember to bring a quarter or two for the parking meter!
