Awesome food……fresh, delicious, delicate flavors and good price!The Dosa’s are delectable. The service staff are friendly ( al little slow but worth the wait for sure). They have a wonderful buffet. Our family LOVES this food.
House of Dosas offers exactly what its name suggests lots and lots of Dosas.A dosa is a South Indian crepe made with a batter of ground fermented rice and lentils. There are many different kinds and they come with a variety of fillings.Located in Hicksville, Long Island, the menu at House of Dosas offers other vegetarian dishes too such as Uthappam a thicker pancake type dish, Idly a steamed rice/ lentil cake and other typical dishes from the South.They also offer a mash up of other regional Indian favorites such as Bhelpuri a savory snack made with puffed rice and chutneys and so on.The dosas here are pretty good a bit on the dense side but better than most. I rally liked the Rava Dosa which is a lighter version of a dosa and their Bisebela Bhath which is a mixture of rice and lentils cooked together with several spices. therestaurantfairy.com

Cheap, delicious, will go back FREQUENTLY. Unbelievable. I don’t really go much for doses, and my husband isn’t a huge Indian food fan, but we decided to try something out there and went to this place, which looks in place in a cheap strip mall building. Delicious. Best mango lassis ever. Delicious dosas – loved by a Swede and a Brooklyn Jewish guy alike. We will go back weekly. Now both my husband and I are fans of South Indian food, and it’s $11 per person with a mango lassi + dosa (which will fill you up).
