Is this a family restaurant? I was told to leave an my family because my baby start to crying and disturb the rest of the people my baby usually dont cry but he was hungry it was taking to long to get the food and he start crying and the manager ask us to leave the restaurant because they not allowed cry babies there this is the worst restaurant services i never being i will never go back there
I can’t believe we were asked to leave. We went here for my sister’s birthday, (her chose, not mine). They only take reservations for parties over eight people. Now, this was the first time I have been to Mangos, so I’ll start with my impression on entering. The hostess and staff standing at the door as we walked in looked like they didn’t want to be there. I was told that if the rest of our party wasn’t there in the next couple of minutes they wouldn’t be able to seat us, this was at six thirty on a Saturday and there was only going to be six of us. We all managed to get together in time to be seated. The decore is hokey, at best. The food was unimpressive. I had the mexician roast rack of lamb. The lamb was ok, rice and black beans were bland. However, that is not the reason for me writing this review. Once we had paided our check we were drinking our drinks and I was approached and asked for us to leave. In all my 58 years I have never been asked to leave a resturaunt. We were still finishing our drinks! And once we had left and were in the parking lot we encounted others who also were asked to leave. We left as we were asked, and we will.never return. Not a really good business practice asking paying guests to leave.
The service was very nice but the cheese enchilada was horrible taste light they poured a can of tomato sauce on it I could not eat it . The rice and beans was very bland . The guacamole which is made right I front of you was also very bland . I did like the pia colada that was the only thing . I will not be returning .
Acapulco salmon and strawberry margaritas. Can’t believe I drove past this place for years and never stopped by until now. It is a loud, fun and colorful place with good food and good drinks. We got the guac made table side – it was very good. My salmon acapulco was delightful! It was cooked perfectly. It was tender and juicy and the sauce had a nice tang to it. The beans were good too. Of course he picked the Mangoe Skillet which was huge and came with a pork chop, chicken, shell steak and skirt steak, beans and rice. The flavor of the meat was good except that the pork chop was way too salty. But the shell steak and especially the skirt steak were tender and delicious. We augmented our dinner with a pitcher of strawberry margaritas – they were good but not too strong. Could have used a little more kick.Overall I loved the place, it was a little rowdy because they had several birthday diners at the same time but I would definitely return again.
Call ahead!. Mangoes has a tasty selection of Mexican food and friendly service. Just make sure you get there early or call ahead, seating fills up fast!
Best rack of ribs on the planet! I’m serious!
