Our foursome stopped for a quick cocktail before heading to dinner elsewhere. Were told this was a former bus garage now converted to a restaurant/bar/concert venue. Impressive is the perfect adjective.Before we departed, the bartender gave my wife and I a quick tour of the concert hall portion. She said if you come for dinner and a concert you will be seated at a table that you can remain at through the performance. It has a nice intimate feel for any show you might attend.The cocktails were praised by the three in our group who had them. My selection of beer was from Texas, a Shiner Bock from Spoetzl Brewery. I thought it really lacked flavor and was watery. I probably should have tried the Bronx Belgian Pale Ale instead.We shared an appetizer of Cast Iron Braised Artichokes to hold us until dinner later. Lots of good flavors and a nice mix of texture combining the artichokes with shell peas, radicchio, crisp pancetta, a mustard and parsley broth, and slices of local Bonfiglio bread that was so tasty when dipped in the broth that we asked for more bread to wipe the cast iron pan clean.
