Great Diner. If you just want a plain great diner then this place is for you. get the home fries.
Heaven in Jefferson County!. Had been hoping to find a nice and relaxing restaurant in the area and so happy we found Longway’s Diner! I especially wanted to try the meatloaf special and I wasn’t disappointed. Very, very reasonable price, plenty of food, and unpretentious meatloaf made simply with lots of meat and not a lot of filler. My husband had chicken fried steak made the way it’s done in the South with milk gravy. Waitress was great and very attentive. My husband ended his meal with tapioca pudding and where can you get that anymore–at Longways! It was a great meal and we’ll be back again and again.
Yuck. Worst experience ever. Waitress was snotty and rude, food was bland. Waitress got order wrong then argued with us about correcting it. Service was horrible and food was not very good. Not going there again!
Just ate there. Delicious diner food! Big helpings and the waitress was super friendly. loved it!! I suggest coming in late night though because the last time I ate there was during the day and the waitress was mean and nasty and my food was cold.
If you gotta take the Longway’s. Yes, it’s out the way for most of us. But, Longways’s is what a truck stop/diner should be. Simple foods, good portions, good prices.
Worst in NYS. Traveled 5 hours and took a chance on old fashioned diner food…worst ever…had a western without the egg…served for an astronomical price…then a grilled cheese where they charged extra for the cheese….NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again. Gastronomical nightmare
I have only been here for breakfast but enjoyed every meal. The staff is friendly and always attends to you. I usually order there excellent pancakes and go home full. Not the best looking diner around but their food delivers and the staff is great. I would recommend their chocolate chip pancakes any day.
