Cool little place. I went in for breakfast and was wowed. I had the hungry man. It came with 3 eggs, home fries, bacon, toast, juice and coffee…and it was less than 10 bucks. Tasted great and I would go back again for breakfast.
You should note that Nu Pier offers homemade corned beef hash ($4). Im not sure if everyone reading this will understand that real corned beef hash, made in-house, is the unicorn of the breakfast game. It is. This version was griddled on the flat top so that the chunky hunks of soft potato and slices of corned beef took on a golden brown, sizzly crisp at their edges. Fresh herbs were mixed in as well, so that fat and salt werent the only two flavors playing on your palate as you ate through this delightful mlange. It also wasnt overly salty, like canned varieties just savory brunch nirvana. Yeah, nirvana at the Nu Pier! Put that in your pipe and smoke it. bighungryshelby.com
