Appetizers are great! Arancini was fabulous!Good choice of wines.Had made reservations and got seated right next to the bar, lacked the ambience for that special evening.Took a long time to come and take our order (12 whole minutes!!).Food is good but looking for some excellent service, wouldn’t recommend it!
Did not meet expectations- food lacked seasoning, wait staff was juvenile. Sauce was undercooked(onions were raw) and tasteless. Hard to believe they stay in business.
Service not great. Server annoyed that we didn’t order alcohol. The stuffed banana peppers were tasteless and undercooked. The pasta dish, Norma was ok but light on the eggplant and cheese. The delmonico steak was tough and lacked flavor. The caramel gelato was the best part of the meal. Not a fan of Gigi’s .
Great time. My wife and I truly enjoyed the evening. Great service, bar and oh yes the food was terrific and reasonably priced. Highly recommended
Delish!!!…… First time there ,definitley not the last….everything was nice ,from the atmosphere to the service..My husband&I sat at the bar.A nice bottle of wine suggested by bartender was perfect with meal…We shared appetizers, artichoke fritters, arancini &cardoons All done perfect to the palate…pork braciole over pasta & clams casino were also shared & enjoyed….can’t wait to return & try the other items offered….our bartender was courteous and well informed…..Gigi’s. Is worth the while….
Another enjoyable experience at GiGi’s. Stopped in last night alone after a busy week. Sat at the bar and everyone was friendly. Bart the awesome bartender ordered my ckn livers just how I wanted them. Buy the time I left, I knew almost everyone at the bar. Amazing glass of Italian red wine to go with my dinner. I will be back!!!!!07 Apr, 2014Bite of italy on kenmore ave.. Had one for the better dining experiences in and around the city of Buffalo,NY. Saturday night! My hats off to the bartender, server, bus boy and the chef!!! To start we had the most amazing chicken liver with bacon and onion. So tasty, I wanted more.. First time eating liver in a long-long time. Then the dinner salad, which wasn’t anything spectacular. It was a salad. Friend of mine had homemade ravioli’s and I have the amazing dive sea scallops with the risotto. Cooked to perfection!!!!!! I forgot it was 20.14 week. So we sat at the bar for a bit and chatted with the regulars. Yes, there was a few to more! I will so be going to to have a Umami culinary dining experience!!!!!
Been there twice and absolutely love it. This time we did 4 total courses including dessert. The cheese and antipasti app was perfect, pickled relish w chopped olives was our fave. Salad was very light and my choice to add gorgonzola on top was a wise flavor booster. The carbonara was the best ive had in buffalo, and did not cause any subsequent rush to the bathroom like I’ve had even at places that give the utmost italian fine-dining atmosphere (wont name any names since i do still like them, just wont get the carbonara ever again!!). My leftover carbonara was still just as scrumptous for lunch the next day. The house made limoncello was the ultimate topper of the evening. Cant wait to go back!!!
