  The food is good, no better than any other sub spot, but the help is on the down side, order a ham sub one week and found something crunchy in it, but I did not give up on them and came back a couple of weeks later and order another ham sub with extra oil and light mayo, seem as if this guy can’t read, the sub was as dry as it could be, makes me afraid to go back, I long for the time when there was just females behind the counter doing orders

  Always great as long as they get your order right . I ordered a pizza sub with chicken fingers on it and when I got home realized the chicken fingers weren’t on it. When I brought it back the took the subs back and then charged me again saying I never ordered the chicken fingers on the subs. I was very confused and annoyed it the food was still good even though it ended up being over $30 for 2 subs. And I wasn’t even allowed to keep the mistake subs which I watched them throw in the garbage while I waited for my correct order that I had allready paid for.

  I have been going here since I was 15 so 24yrs, the service has gone down hill, from them messing up simple orders, to forgetting stuff in your order, to just plain rudeness. I keep giving them a chance because I do like the food BUT I can find another place to order from 2-3x a week. I ordered food 3 days ago waited 35 mins to pick it up then waited 10 inside then got home and they forgot half of my order, so when I called back they said they will send it right out well 30 mins later (live 4blocks away) my taco which takes 5 maybe 10mins arrived WRONG!

  What happened?. I’ve been going to Mike’s subs for 30 years. And for 29 of those years, the food was great and the service was truly outstanding. Lately, though, something has changed. I specifically googled this week to see if Mike’s had changed owners, because the atmosphere is so different…the teens working there seem largely sullen and unhelpful, management is nowhere to be seen, the restaurant does not look as meticulously clean as it used to. This makes me sad because Mike’s has been a favorite of my entire extended family for years…a place we could count on for delicious food and extraordinary service when we didn’t feel like cooking at home. The last few times I have been to Mike’s, my food has been delayed (waited 40 minutes last week for a sub!), and no one seemed particularly concerned about it. My mother ordered from Mike’s last month and her order cam eout completely wrong. The bathrooms are consistently without toilet paper.Maybe it’s just growing pains from the recent expansion…I will keep giving Mike’s a chance because 29 years of excellence means something to me.As an aside – I really miss the Scientology poster & books….it was odd but charming. I wonder what happened there….

  You get what you pay for!. Cold subs are fresh, also one of the most underrated Chicken Finger subs in Buffalo! Been going here for years!

  Bog Standard. The subs are middle of the road all the way through the menu. It’s better than Subway but since this is Buffalo I’m willing to bet there’s a corner pizza place that does better near you.

  Worst subs I’ve ordered from any place in area and over priced. They used to be the best in town but over the years have gone really downhill
