Me and my girlfriend went to new star for lunch one day. We were craving Chinese buffet close to us. Worst mistake we made all day. The place was quiet nothing to be heard but screaming kids. They have a tiny selection but the worst of all the owners child was able to ride his bicycle around the aisles screaming as he went. Right before we were about to leave my girlfriend found a piece of metal scrub in her food. Ruined the entire meal. Never go here.
I most recently been to new star last week and enjoyed the food and service my husband and i really didn’t care to much for the waiter. she was watching us eat. and asking if we were done when we only had a half a plate of food and gave us the check after the first plate. But regardless i loved the food selections.
Love the food better service then there was. I have been coming to this buffet for a long time the food was and still always good. I love the seafood delight and the hot spicy Chicken with the delicate sauce to the peach chicken crispy there white meat with authenticate of cooking. The green beens are made with chopped garlic cooked in white wine sauce. The fried chicken wings are to die for, my ultimate two favorite I pile on Are the crab ragoons which are homemade I watched them make them, also the crag legs Nom Nom steamed to perfection and the butter also amazing you can’t get better seafood. I don’t know what the others reviewers are saying yes it’s no Mongolian buffet but still good. The deserts lack but the Chinese doughnuts and apple pie are scrumptious the best time I recommend to go is on the weekend
Agree about the menu prices. Lunchtime meal at seafood dinner prices. Flavorless meats. Stale rice. NASTY bathrooms.
Watch out, they are using old menu with old prices, then charge a higher price. They pretend they don’t understand english. Where is immigration.
