You won’t get a better breakfast anywhere in Buffalo. Someday (when you are really hungry – lots of food!) try one of their skillet breakfasts. You will be amazed at how good they are. The staff is super friendly and service is good, considering how busy they always are. We are going there for lunch today. I have only eaten their breakfasts so far but I know lunch will be just as tasty.
What a find. Been there twice now and the food does not disappoint. just loved it. the mom is the nicest person she makes you feel as if your an old friend. I’m taking some out of town gusts there this week.
The food was plenty but most of all very good . The atmosphere was electric with the food cooked in front of the customers & the delicious aromas in the air added to the experience . We can’t wait to go again.30 May, 2014Awesome place. Food was great and there was a lot of food for your money! The cook made the meal in front of you, the aromas of food being cooked was an experience in itself! Highly recommend this family- styled restaurant!
The best breakfast in buffalo. Finally made it to Sophias. We had to wait 10-15 minutes for a table not bad and so worth the wait. I had the Greek II omelet…fabulous! Perfect amount of olives, spinach and the best feta cheese. The homefries were done just right and thier homemade bread was great! My friend had perfectly poached eggs and sausage….very good. The mimosa and the bloodymary were quite tasty indeed. Our only dislike was the coffee simply terrible. Our bill was a very reasonable $30! 🙂 We most certainly will next give lunch there a try. Do treat yourself and go to Sophias you will love it.
Best place in town. Had the best experience my first visit 1 month ago.. enjoyed the greek chicken salad. Then have gone back 4 times in last month. Breakfast was amazing… Staff so nice and very comfortable and relaxing. Love this place…
Simply the best!. My god, this stuff is da bomb! What a gem it is to have a place like this in the neighborhood. I am so jealous of you locals. Came in with my girlfriend and boy are we glad we decided to skip breakfast at Starbucks and cross the border early in the morning. The place was busy. We got the best seats in the house–right up at the bar, front row tickets to the Madhouse Breakfast Show in Buffalo! While waiting for our order, we got to see the heart of Sophia’s in action. Man, what a well-oiled machine the kitchen is! Sophie! Sam! Lisa! Maria! It was amazing watching everyone in action as the kitchen picked off orders and the wait staff cleared them out in true assembly line fashion. Seeing the skillet brought to the guy sitting next to us made me drool. My chicken skillet with mozzarella arrived and I was in heaven. It was so good, I forgot about my girlfriend. It’s ok though, because she was concentrating on her perfect crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes. The place was packed when we got there and it never stopped the whole time we were there. It was packed when we left. With food like that and friendly staff, I’d come back even if it wasn’t so damn entertaining watching all the eggs cook on the grill.
Service and food was delicious!. Went to Sophia’s on our way back from Canada Food was delicious, had the giambotta. Others had pancakes and French toast equally as good. Coffee was very good too. Our waitress was fabulous, her recommendations were spot on. Would definitely return. Ps the feta cheese was so good and creamy 🙂
