Great Place. My husband and I always like to stop into the Brickyard when we’re in Lewiston. It really is a great place and appears to be a meeting place for everyone in the area. Always a wonderful sense of joi de vivre as patrons celebrate birthdays, showers, office parties, or just a night out with friends. It can get pretty crowded at times, and service can suffer as a result (if you’re lucky enough to get a seat!), but generally a pleasant way to spend some time with a cold pint or two. The draft selection could do with more variety, and some lighter options. Don’t expect to be able to stay on a diet if you plan on eating here – it is hearty food and lots of it. Generous portions, with a lot of choices of some interesting and tasty sides. I like the cornbread – my husband does not. There is a chicken salad that is just divine – the house dressing is incredible. All in all, a nice place to go – recommended.

What is to say that hasn’t been said over and over. Should have listened to the other reviews DRY! Had a sampler to try as much as possible. The chicken wings and turkey were the best part the rest that I would more be typical of a BBQ joint were…. ehh. (to someone new) I’d try someplace else, or if I had to come back wouldn’t get anything but white meat items!! XD
Delicious meal. Fun atmosphere. Great brew on tap and nice service. When you want to be part of a hopping restaurant scene, stop in on a Saturday night. TH E BRISKET SALAD with sweet potato fries is better than any steak salad I’ve had anywhere. (INCLUDING PIttsburgh) where steak salad is dull compared to this.
Great place. Food was very good, atmosphere was great ! For ten bucks you eat like a king.
I liked the Brickyard with reservations. The Good: great beer selection, and service. The Not So Good: their BBQ. Dry, tasteless, not much smoky flavor. It seems like it was made in the oven. There sides are average. Good red beans and rice, crappy mac and cheese.
Cold food…dry pulled pork…dried meatloaf…really good House Rub on the wings. Nice service, cute place. Outdoor patio. Not sure if we would go back….bummer.
