$20 lobster salad and it was raw. didn’t eat it and still got charged. I never left a bad review in my life, because usually it is made right if something goes wrong. But not here. I was hesitant ordering a $20 salad, but my boyfriend told me it was his treat And to go for it. Lobster tail was slimy and uncooked. Offered to make me another one but I had lost my appetite. They took off our $4 clams on the bill. Don’t know how that makes up for it. Upset I made the 40 minute drIve to pay $20 for nothing. Very disappointed.
VALENTINE’S DAY!. We tried this together for the first time as I hadn’t been there since it was called the Riverside. We were greeted by Jayne who was prompt, very friendly but most important very professional. Balin, our server was top notch bringing us our delicious well proportioned dinner very promptly. Are you kidding? This place is excellent and extremely reasonable. 77 bucks for two of us with appetizers drinks and dessert? We go to a lot of nice places, this is as good as any of them. We’re coming back!!!!!
Waterstreet Landing. We had an amazing dinner experience at this beautiful restaurant with a view on the Niagara gorge. The staff–from owner to server to water servers– were spot on before we even had to ask! Our food wasexceptionally delicious–grilled salmon, prime rib, filet mignon and an incredible vegetarian option that was created by the chef for my daughter. Everything was DELICIOUS!!! We felt like royalty. We plan to go back again–often.
Nice view. Good food slow service
Was this your first day?. I have never been to Water Street but it was a beautiful day so my wife and I decide to take a drive to Lewiston for lunch on the water. We were greeted with a nice waitress who told us there was a 25 minute wait but we could sit and have some drinks. That was fine since it was such a nice day. What we came to find out was that it was a 25 minute wait to order anything to eat since the kitchen was so backed up. We sat on the patio so I don’t know what the crowd was like inside. My wife and I had ordered a drink. After around 25 minutes, the waitress came over to take our order. Nothing fancy, just finger food. We watched the jet boat rides leave and I wanted to see how long of a tour it was so I glanced at the time on my watch. After a long wait, we got half our order. Chicken quesadillas. The waitress said our other order, mozzarella sticks, would be right up. One of the jet boats came back and noticed about 50 minutes was about the time of the ride. Now, we had already been sitting for at least 10 to 15 minutes before I started timing and when we ordered our first drink. We were never asked for another drink, we had to ask. We asked the waitress if we could have some napkins and maybe a couple plates. She came back with the napkins and one plate. We had no silver ware altough we really didn’t need it. The waitress apologized saying they burned the first order of mozzarella sticks so they were making anohter order. They finally showed up about a 1/2 hour after we got our quesadillas. Oh, and by the way, we ordered lettuce with the quesadillas and it looked like they scavanged to come up with some for them. I was kind of suprised that there was no apology for the long wait and that we had to pay the full price for what we got. It was like it was there first try in the restaurant business.
Lovely Sunday afternoon. I hosted a baby shower here for my daughter-in-law. Everyone enjoyed the private room, its view, and the chicken salad lunch which was made-to-order. A brilliant stroke was to include blueberry-raspberry scones made by the Village Bake Shoppe in lieu of croissants. We also needed a gluten-free kid-friendly lunch for the young nieces. They were served grilled chicken with fresh fruit and green beans. For dessert, the girls had vanilla sundaes. Our server, Marissa, did a fabulous job of serving our group. It was all lovely.
View is great, food not so much. On a hot July Sunday afternoon, the views of the Niagara River are refreshing. The breezes welcome. Thank goodness something was as expected. Despite empty tables, the wait for a table for two persons was over 45 minutes . Initially, when we gave our name, the hostess said 25 minutes. Service at the bar was attentive. . Despite 3 servers and 2 hostesses, service was painfully slow and not attentive at all. There were only 12 tables being waited on .The waitress was sweet and was trying. I attribute it to her being new to waitressing- hey we have all been there. That would of been okay, if the food was good. Was the chef new too? The sweet potato fries were were soggy, and cold. The sandwich was dry. Crabcake sliders seemed as if they were factory made and fresh from the freezer.Go for a drink and enjoy the view.
