I didnt. But after eating a yapingachus, I know that peanut sauce and pickled onions could work. We also tried the excellent plantain cups stuffed with shrimp and coconut. And of course, the aguardiente cocktails were a must. I had the arroz con pollo, which was delicious. My husband had the pollo salteado, which was good, but there were better choices. Others had the fritada and the mama Inez, both excellent. I was particularly happy with the presentation of the food, the freshness and brightness of the flavors, and the service ( friendly, helpful and attentive). Its a tiny place, and welcoming.
