I had delightful Christmas Eve brunch with a group of friends. My friend works here and suggested a lovely brunch of unlimited mimosas and good food. I was impressed by the selection of vegan brunch items they have on their brunch menu. I tried their vegan scramble, it was quite tasty. They give you a portion of food. Their holiday brunch comes with unlimited mimosas. Great service, good atmosphere in a nice area in the city. I’ll definitely come back again.
Happened upon this place, walking around before a show at the Slipper Room. Menu outside did not excite but we were intrigued by the lofted space and wandered in just to see. What an amazing surprise. I had the half chicken that was gently fried and beat out any southern fry I have ever had. My companion had the veal meatball rigatoni which was outstanding in flavor and perfectly cooked pasta. We also had the goat cheese potato pancake. I see why they are famous. Just delish. Highly recommend this place for both food and ambience. The interior was contemporary and intimate. Great combo! silverspoonlog.wordpress.com
Came for brunch – food is average. Atmosphere is nice – I like the high ceiling. The service was friendly but could have been a pinch more attentive. The bottomless brunch deal is the going rate. I would have like to have my mimosa glass full more often but I’m nitpicking at this point. We also had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation time to be seated – again just nitpicking. I don’t recommend you come out of your way to go here but it may be worth checking out if you need to be in this area
My new favorite happy hour!!! $1 oysters and half price drinks from 5-8pm, perfect extra hour for people getting off work late. The bartender Rosie was a doll and the hostess was beyond accommodating. I love happy hour places where I can actually be seated at a table and treated like a regular customer! Apparently the lobster is a hit here as everyone was ordering it but I will be back to try some!
Bring Cash!. Only bad part about the meal is that they make you pay in cash, which was a bit surprising considering the brunch special is about $25 a person. Above average brunch food and a nice atmosphere. Particularly enjoyed the french toast and mimosas.
Great place for brunch. Food was excellent. A little pricey, but at least it’s good.
