Been coming here on my last couple of visits to NYC. The food is very good, and even satisfied a very picky meat eater that I came with the first time. I recommend the crab rangoon as a starter. My only gripe is that they use so many soy-based fake meats. There are a lot of soy-free vegan proteins available (like pea protein) that I hope they introduce in their menu soon. Service is great and friendly. The restaurant is a few steps down from street level so it feels kinda dark, warm, and cozy inside.
The space is very cool and the decoration is amazing – taking us back to Asia. The staff seemed a lit bit confused with lot of work to do. We wait a few moments and then ordered food to go: some dumplings and roti, a satay and a mango chicken and also a plate of spaghetti and meatballs. Everyting was so good, and the doses are more than enough for one person. The chicken came with rice also. I have to highlight the dumplings, it was just perfect. The price is ok.
I take my 5 stars really seriously. This place was amazing! My wife and I recently started eating Vegan and had a date night out so we chose to eat at our first vegan restaurant. It was a Friday night so we had to wait about 45mins and this place is super tiny. We started with some spring rolls, and they were so good we had to order another. I originally wanted to get the Jerk Chicken and the lady next to us said its not good, she didnt like it. So i ordered what I knew I would most likely enjoy – a sweet and sour chicken. The sauce was amazing, veggies real good. Then for dessert we had chocolate cake and vegan ice cream. The cake was a little dry, it was just ok. The ice cream was pretty decent as well. Overall I loved this place. One waiter was a little crazy, not very people friendly and didnt want to explain dishes but the other two were great! Id go back to this place again and cant wait.
