This place is the bomb! We were looking for a good Deli for lunch and someone recommended Sarge’s. We went and had a terrific experience.I had the pastrami Reuben and it was easily the best I have ever had. The meat was tender and very lean covered by sauerkraut and Swiss cheese and it was HUGE!The staff were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was authentic. All in all, a great Deli experience.
Salty. Sarges was suggested by the concierge in my hotel I guess because it is right around the corner. I had a corned beef sandwich and was not impressed at all. The sandwich while fairly large was too salty. I also seemed to take forever to make despite the deli being nearly empty. Beyond the salty food, the service was not very good. My waitress took my order, took twenty minutes to bring out my sandwich and then I never saw her again until I went to the register to pay. I don’t think I would return to Sarge’s Deli, there are too many other options that are better.

Takes Me Back. It’s always great to eat all my favorite childhood memory foods at Sarge’s when I’m in Murray Hill.. The fact that they are open 24 hrs and deliver is even better! YUMMY.
This place is phonomenal the pastrami and corned beef are beyond excelent and its open late nite perfect food from comin home from a bar although i must say it is slightly over priced but i would definatley say this a must stop for late nite eats in murry hill
Outstanding Deli. During a trip to NYC I reluctantly agreed to eat here… but I will definitely make this a regular stop during all future trips to Manhattan. The pastrami/corned beef sandwich is to die for, and their handcut lox and bagels was truly some of the best I’ve ever tasted (order it with capers though, not green onions).
